Webinar

How can your business use its expertise in facilitating trade to support international development and poverty reduction?
The Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation is a collaboration of businesses, governments and international organisations working to make trade simpler, faster and more cost-effective. Supported by Global Affairs Canada and five other donor governments, the Alliance’s global portfolio of projects brings together the public and private sectors as equal partners to identify bottlenecks at the border and devise targeted reforms. All Alliance projects aim to help developing and least-developed countries to implement the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement, unlocking inclusive economic growth and helping to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Find out more about the Alliance’s work and hear from one business who is directly involved.

Ailsa Nicol leads communications for the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation. She is based at the International Chamber of Commerce’s global headquarters in Paris and is part of the ICC’s trade hub focused on making trade work for people and planet.
Mark FeDuke is Director Risk Management & Regulatory Affairs at ArdoVLM, a global leader in the production of plant based frozen foods and an official business partner of the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation. Mark has over 25 years’ experience in international food value chains and is a corporate representative to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Trusted Trader Program Pilot.
